New Delhi, June 23: The Women’s Hospital (TWH), India’s first multi-speciality hospital dedicated exclusively to women, has announced the appointment of Dr. Neena Bahl as Executive Director – Obstetrics and Gynaecology. The appointment strengthens TWH’s focus on high-risk pregnancy care, advanced gynaecological treatment and minimally invasive surgical options for women.

Dr. Neena Bahl is a renowned obstetrician and gynaecologist with over 31 years of clinical experience. A highly skilled laparoscopic surgeon, she has extensive expertise in managing high-risk pregnancies, complex gynaecological conditions, obstetric care, minimal access surgery, and robotic, laparoscopic and hysteroscopic procedures. Her clinical experience, surgical skill and long-standing academic involvement make her a strong addition to TWH’s senior clinical leadership team.

At The Women’s Hospital, Dr. Bahl will lead programmes across high-risk maternity care, advanced gynaecology and minimally invasive surgery. Her experience will support the hospital’s effort to offer safer, more precise and specialised treatment pathways for women who require both routine and complex care.

Dr. Bahl holds an MBBS and MD in Obstetrics & Gynaecology. She is a life member of the Association of Obstetricians & Gynaecologists of Delhi (AOGD), Federation of Obstetric and Gynaecological Societies of India (FOGSI), Gynaecological Endoscopic Society, New Delhi, Indian Gynaecological Society of India, and the Endometriosis Society of India. These affiliations reflect her continued engagement with leading professional bodies across obstetrics, gynaecology, endoscopy and endometriosis care.

Over the course of her career, Dr. Bahl has remained actively involved in medical education, surgical training and academic initiatives. She has been a regular trainer at the RCOG Trainer Course at the Breech and Partogram station and has served as operative faculty and co-governor of the live laparoscopy workshop at the pre-congress programme of the AICC-RCOG Conference. She has numerous publications in national and international journals to her credit and actively participates in conferences and continuing medical education programmes.

Her contributions to the field have also been recognised with the “Secretary Appreciation” Award from the IMA South Delhi Branch in 2013. Dr. Bahl’s appointment reflects The Women’s Hospital’s continued focus on strengthening specialised women’s healthcare through experienced clinicians, integrated care pathways and life-stage-led clinical programmes.
