New Delhi, 26 May: Chief Minister Shri Prem Singh Tamang had the honour of receiving the Hon’ble President of India, Smt. Droupadi Murmu Ji, at Libing Helipad today in the gracious presence of Hon’ble Governor Shri Om Prakash Mathur Ji. Cabinet colleagues and senior officials were also present to extend a warm welcome to the Hon’ble President on her arrival in Sikkim.
Following her arrival, the Chief Minister had the privilege of formally welcoming the Hon’ble President at Lok Bhavan in the esteemed presence of the Hon’ble Governor.
On behalf of the people of Sikkim, Chief Minister Shri Prem Singh Tamang also had the honour of presenting a traditional thangka painting to the Hon’ble President as a token of warm welcome and heartfelt gratitude for her gracious presence in the State.
The visit marked a proud and significant occasion for Sikkim, reflecting the State’s deep respect and warm hospitality extended to the Hon’ble President of India.
