Excelia Launches AI Courses to Equip Future Professionals

Posted on March 21, 2025

The first new addition is a compulsory AI module for all new students, benefiting approximately 1,500 enrollees across its three schools: Excelia Business School, Excelia Tourism School, and Excelia Communication School. The 15-21 hour module is structured into three parts: experiential learning via the Exceliaprime platform, in-person workshops on responsible AI usage, and the role of AI in enhancing creativity and productivity across various professions. These workshops will be conducted by academic experts and AI specialists, with 78 sessions scheduled across all campuses.

“Artificial intelligence is set to profoundly change the way companies operate and their business models. And the process is already underway! It is the responsibility of higher education establishments such as Excelia to offer students courses that will prepare them to harness the unquestionable potential of artificial intelligence, whilst at the same time ensuring that they retain their free will as individuals. This is why all our students must benefit from these courses”, commented Bruno Neil, CEO of Excelia.

Excelia Business School is also set to launch a specialisation titled ‘AI, Data & Business Analytics’ within its Master in Management programme from September 2025. This specialisation will focus on developing managers proficient in data science, machine learning, and advanced data analytics to drive value creation and business transformation. Additionally, Excelia Communication School will introduce an MSc in Digital Communication, Social Media & New Realities, currently available in French.

Thirdly, since January 2024, Excelia’s faculty has implemented a comprehensive policy governing the use of generative artificial intelligence across all academic activities. Faculty training began in 2023, emphasizing pedagogical applications of AI and fostering critical thinking skills. Through these initiatives, Excelia solidifies its commitment to preparing future professionals to navigate and leverage AI technologies to address the challenges of tomorrow.
