Guwahati, Oct 29: ODIIN Experiences has been named Nightclub of the Year 2026 at the ET Hospitality World Restaurant & Nightlife Awards, held at the Hyatt Regency, New Delhi. The recognition, ahead of established names from across Eastern India, marks a significant milestone for North-East India’s growing luxury and entertainment scene.
ODIIN made its debut with a star-studded opening night graced by Shibani Akhtar and featuring a live performance by Sufi ensemble Swaraag. More than 600 guests attended the event, bringing the city’s busiest thoroughfare to a standstill.
Conceived and designed entirely by its founding team, without the involvement of an external interior designer, ODIIN draws inspiration from Norse mythology and the series Vikings. This influence is reflected in the venue’s identity, guest communications and beverage programme. Spread across 20,000 square feet and three levels, ODIIN features The Boutique Chambers, comprising ten private rooms for intimate evenings; The Great Hall, a spacious venue for DJ nights and live acts; Skol Rooftop, an open-air dining space with its own pickleball court; and ORO Privé, a speakeasy-style private bar designed for quieter, more intimate moments.
The venue’s focus on creating distinctive experiences extends to its sound and lighting systems. ODIIN features an audio system imported from Outline, Italy, and is India’s first club to integrate Kinetics & Hibec automated intelligent lighting. Its bespoke mixology programme has also drawn praise. At a recent conference, National Award-winning actor Vikrant Massey said he had not come across a comparable experiential venue offering such signature mixology anywhere in the country.
