Kochi, July 27: The Central Marine Fisheries Research Institute (CMFRI) is adopting digital technologies to strengthen shark conservation initiatives and support sustainable management of marine resources.
The institute is using technology-based approaches to improve the monitoring and scientific study of shark populations. Advanced digital tools will help researchers collect, manage, and analyse marine data, enabling better understanding of shark behaviour, habitats, and conservation needs.
