Bhopal, October 9, 2025: India’s leading organization in skill development and higher education, AISECT, has launched two major national campaigns — the Kaushal Vikas Yatra 2025 and the Vishwarang Pustak Yatra 2025 — beginning October 6. These journeys will span 20 states, reaching over 300 districts and 500 schools, colleges, and educational institutions, engaging millions of students, youth, and educators with future-ready skills and emerging technologies.

Simultaneously, the Vishwarang Pustak Yatra will travel through cities and villages to connect young minds with books and promote a vibrant reading culture.

Inaugurating both initiatives, Mr. Santosh Choubey, Chairman of AISECT Group and Director of Vishwarang Foundation, stated, “Skill development is the most pressing need of our time. AISECT has been organizing Kaushal Vikas Yatras across the country for many years, and this marks the 12th edition of the campaign. Reading itself is a skill, and to foster a culture of reading, our universities have been conducting Pustak Yatras in remote regions. This year, both yatras are being launched jointly. In Madhya Pradesh, the journey will follow eight routes and reach all 55 districts.”

Dr. Siddharth Chaturvedi, Executive Vice President, AISECT Group and Chancellor of SCOPE Global Skills University, added that the specially designed Kaushal Rath will carry the mission to both urban and rural areas. The highlight of this year’s campaign is the AI Literacy Mission, featuring educational content and demonstrations on AI, AR/VR, and other future technologies. The yatra will include free AI seminars, workshops, career counseling sessions, and technical exhibitions.

The launch event was attended by Dr. Vijay Singh, Vice Chancellor of SCOPE Global Skills University, Dr. Sitesh Kumar Sinha, Registrar, and Mr. Rajesh Panda, Network Head, AISECT.

Through this initiative, AISECT aims to:

  • Train students, educators, and Skill Knowledge Providers (SKPs) in future skills
  • Connect communities through free seminars and workshops
  • Strengthen institutional networks by collaborating with schools and colleges
  • Identify future training needs by engaging student groups

During the journey, information will be shared about over 250 diploma and certificate courses offered under the AISECT–NSDC partnership, covering domains such as Computer & IT, Future Skills, Electronics & Hardware, Banking & Finance, Teacher Training, Agriculture, and Retail. These programs aim to equip youth with industry-relevant skills and link them to employment opportunities.

At each stop, expert-led seminars and workshops will guide students on the significance of AI, the role of skill development, and career pathways. These sessions will be attended by students, job seekers, educators, and thought leaders.

Following the yatra, AISECT centers across various cities will host a week-long series of free seminars and on-the-spot counseling, ensuring that students and youth who couldn’t attend the main events still benefit from the initiative.
