Mumbai, January 27, 2025: R City Mall, Ghatkopar West, is set to host an extraordinary celebration of India’s cultural heritage through the grand Ghoomar Folk Festival on February 1, 2025, at the Courtyard, R City Mall. The event, organised to spread awareness about mental health, aims to set a world record for the highest number of Ghoomar turns. Adding to the charm will be a live performance by renowned folk singer Padma Shri Mame Khan.
The festival is led by Dr. Mamta Ajit Singh, Director of the Women Entrepreneurs International Chambers of India, alongside fellow directors Rehma Nahar, Swati Thakkar, and Shilpa Jain. The celebration will feature folk dances, traditional attire, and soulful music, while also supporting meaningful causes. All proceeds from the event will be donated to improving mental health.
The event will feature a vibrant lineup of performances, including a captivating puppet show and talwarbazi (fencing).
The evening will be graced by Shubhash Runwal, Chairman of Runwal Realty, alongside other notable personalities.
