Mumbai, May 12: South Indian Bank has launched a special Mother’s Day campaign titled “Mom – Our First Safe Deposit Locker,” celebrating the unconditional care, emotional security, and trust that mothers provide throughout life.
The campaign is anchored around a digital film that portrays mothers as a child’s first source of comfort, protection, and reassurance long before they understand the meaning of safety or security. Through relatable everyday moments, the film highlights the silent yet powerful role mothers play in shaping lives and offering unwavering emotional support.
Drawing a parallel with the concept of a safe deposit locker, the campaign redefines safety as an emotional bond rooted in trust, love, and lifelong care.
The film has been released in five languages Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Hindi reflecting the bank’s effort to connect with audiences across regions through culturally resonant storytelling.

According to the bank, the campaign has generated strong engagement across digital platforms, crossing 1.10 crore views collectively on YouTube and Meta platforms within two days of launch.
The initiative has been conceptualized as an emotionally driven digital-first campaign aimed at reinforcing South Indian Bank’s positioning as a relationship-led bank that values human connections beyond financial transactions.
