ZEE5, India’s largest homegrown video streaming platform, has announced the launch of its riveting true crime docu-series Honeymoon Se Hatya, premiering on 9th January 2026. The series delves into real-life cases where wives killed their husbands, asking the haunting question: Why Women Kill. Without sensationalism, it explores marriages that began with promise but spiraled into violence, examining the emotional, social, and psychological pressures that drove these shocking crimes.

The series revisits some of India’s most disturbing cases, including the Meghalaya Sonam Raja Raghuvanshi Case, the Meerut Blue Drum Case, the Bhiwani Influencer Case, Mumbai Tile Case (Nalasopara Tile Case), and Delhi Electric Shock Case. Through meticulous narration, recreations, interviews, and archival material, Honeymoon Se Hatya presents a detailed account of each crime while highlighting recurring patterns of trauma, control, and desperation that often go unnoticed until tragedy strikes.
