New Delhi, September 24th, 2025: Magicbricks is pleased to share that the recent concerns raised by the brokers’ body NAR-India have now been amicably resolved. Over the past few months, we have engaged in an open and constructive dialogue with NAR-India and its members, and we deeply value the spirit of collaboration that has guided these conversations.

NAR-India had raised concern about certain social media content of Magicbricks which it termed as disrespectful to the broker community. While Magicbricks had already promptly removed these content as they did not adhere to its own internal content guidelines, however, few members of the broker community had still raised objections. Senior executives of Magicbricks had immediately held direct talks with some local broker bodies but that did not yield positive results. It was found that some brokers had started a ‘boycott Magicbricks’ campaign in spite of the company making all efforts to amicably resolve the issue. Taking note of this, the company took legal recourse to address the matter. However, later NAR-India modified its stance and we engaged in constructive discussion to resolve the differences.  The dialogue led to the final resolution of the issues and both parties expressed their support for the joint declaration.

The Joint Declaration, signed by both parties mentions, “Magicbricks has taken constructive and corrective steps including the removal of objectionable content in reaffirmation of its respect for the dignity, contribution and professionalism of the Realtor community. Reciprocating the same, members of NAR India who had extended their support to the Boycott Magicbricks campaign will now unequivocally withdraw those actions and acknowledge Magicbricks’ contribution to realtors on the same platforms. With these mutual actions, both parties will move forward with renewed collaboration.”

We acknowledge the effort of NAR-India and its members for the constructive engagement and reaffirm our commitment to fostering trust, transparency, and long-term growth in Indian real estate.
